We are thrilled to announce our co-sponsorship of the European Harp Symposium, subtitled “Stellae Matutinae” (Morning Star), which will take place from 11 to 18 April 2025 in Feldkirch, Austria.
The symposium boasts a lineup that would be the envy of any major festival! Featuring 16 concerts spanning baroque to jazz, with performances by solo artists and quintets, alongside 9 workshops and 5 masterclasses that will offer deep insights into pedagogical, aesthetic, historical, and musicological topics. The symposium will also include a vibrant supporting programme and exhibitions from the world’s leading harp makers, of which Camac is proud to be one.
While attendees will encounter the biggest stars of the European harp scene, including Isabelle Moretti, Sylvain Blassel, and Jana Bouškovà, there will also be a focus on nurturing young talents—these “morning stars” reflect the festival’s title.
Tickets are now available to everyone, and it is important to note that the event is primarily funded by ticket sales. By purchasing a ticket, you directly support the symposium’s goals: promoting young talent and ensuring fair payment for all participating artists. Additionally, attractive packages are available for families, teachers, and their students.

Harpes au Max returns for its fourth edition, organised by the Communauté de communes du Pays d’Ancenis, the town of Ancenis-Saint-Géréon and Camac Harps! There is truly something for every musical taste and an unmissable opportunity for music and togetherness in the heart of the region we call home.
What exciting plans await in 2025? There is nearly too much to list!
Exciting performances will include jazz from eminent artists like Evelyn Huber and Rossitsza Milevska, the unique duo of Noemi von Felten and singer, Stephen Eicher, Venezuelan music from Raider Alvarado (llanera harp) and his trio, Horizontes. There will also be cross-cultural events featuring harp and dance (with Sarah Vaumourin), harp and circus ((Telenn Phare Company accompanied by Christine and Thierry Lutz), and harp and recitation ( Philippe Mathé, actor-reader, and François Pernel, harpist). On the classical side, contributions will come from the harp sextet, Hexarpa, recitals by the rising generation of French harpists (Rose Pollier- Meliodon and Anne- Sophie Pannetier), and an unmissable journey through fairytales and darker stories with Sylvain Blassel, the Quatuor Liger, and Philippe Mathé.

Since 1984, the Rencontres Internationales de Harpes Celtiques have been a showcase for everything that concerns the small harp. The event brings together both professional and amateur harpists, instrument makers, trainees and teachers to build a festival that is unique unto itself.
The festival celebrates every phase of harp creation in all its diversity, and there is room for everybody here, regardless of fame or status. The festival bears the worthy motto, “tradition & creation”, two principles which harmonise perfectly with the ethos of Camac.
As such, we are delighted to have a strong presence at the festival, where our instruments can be tried and played upon by all comers. Aside from our exhibition, this season’s guest stars include Woodlands and Lauren Scott
For information and tickets, and to discover the entire programme on offer, please visit the festival website.
We look forward to seeing you there!

The seventh edition of the International Harp Competition in Szeged, Hungary, will take place between November 19 – November 23 , 2025. There are three competition categories: 14 and under, 19 and under and 25 and under, and the competition always celebrates a Hungarian composer and a major harp repertoire composer. For the seventh edition, the event will celebrate two significant anniversaries: the 150th anniversary of the births of Henriette Renié and Maurice Ravel (both born in 1875), and the 50th anniversary of the passing of Marcel Grandjany (who died in 1975).
Their compositions have been included as set pieces in the program, alongside works by two Hungarian composers, reflecting the competition’s ongoing mission to support and promote Hungarian music.
Comprehensive information about rules, prizes, programmes and deadlines are available here on the competition’s webpage. You’ll also find the entry form, including upload details for the video preliminary round. The closing date for applications is September 15, 2025.
