  • We are looking forward to the 14th edition of the Concours Français de la Harpe, taking place in the beautiful city of Limoges.  The artistic directors, Véronique Chenuet and Marie-Monique Popesco, have once again expertly masterminded this large-scale competition, which encompasses harp playing at all skill levels, from the novice to the highly advanced.

The proceedings will kick off with a breathtaking recital, featuring the extraordinary talents of Evelien Vaneysendeyk and Maria Bubnova, who were last year’s joint winners.

We take immense pride in our ongoing collaboration with this prestigious competition, and we are always thrilled to contribute to what has become an inspiring celebration of harp artistry.

As always, our team will be in place to provide servicing for Camac harps and an exhibition of harps for testing and purchase.

  • Our friends at the Virginia Harp Center Festival have curated a varied and engaging program bringing renowned international artists to the beautiful Mid-Atlantic region of the USA. • The Harpe en Avesnois association members have crafted a truly exceptional lineup of concerts and their highly anticipated annual masterclasses, showcasing their passion and dedication as they do every year. This year, they proceed with this wonderful tradition, despite the unfortunate and sudden passing of their beloved president and founder, Dr. Jean Duprey.

In the spirit of his legacy, they have decided to honour him by continuing with the projects he had initiated. This year’s festival will feature talented harpists, including the acclaimed Park Stickney (accompanied by pianist),  Chloé Ducray (with string quartet), the singer and harpist Zem, and a recital by the gifted Maria Bubnova. Additionally, the masterclass for this edition of the festival will be led by the eminent Isabelle Perrin, who will share her celebrated expertise and artistry.

We hope to see you there soon for some wonderful musical discoveries…

4 March to 16 March: 31st International Festival Harpe en Avesnois
  • We are thrilled to sponsor the 2nd Camac Harp Days in Denmark! Together with artistic director Lovisa Wennesz, we have arranged an engaging weekend of concerts and masterclasses featuring distinguished, internationally acclaimed harpists Nabila Chajai and Nolwenn Arzel. We extend our gratitude to Inger Lerch Høj, principal of the Furesø Music School, for providing their excellent facilities.

In addition to an unmissable concert, lever harpists can participate in a workshop with Nolwenn Arzel. Heir to the Breton revival, artist, composer, and storyteller, her repertoire is rooted in the Celtic tradition while being resolutely modern.

Meanwhile, pedal harp students can take part in a masterclass with Nabila Chajai. While pursuing an impressive orchestral career, Nabila’s eclecticism has led her to develop initiatives that combine the harp with non-European music, along with other fascinating collaborations that take classical music beyond the concert hall.

For our clients in Denmark, our factory technician will be available to service and regulate your Camac harp. There will also be an extensive exhibition of Camac’s pedal and lever harp ranges.

  • We are thrilled to announce our co-sponsorship of the European Harp Symposium, subtitled “Stellae Matutinae” (Morning Star), which will take place from 11 to 18 April 2025 in Feldkirch, Austria.

The symposium boasts a lineup that would be the envy of any major festival! Featuring 16 concerts spanning baroque to jazz, with performances by solo artists and quintets, alongside 9 workshops and 5 masterclasses that will offer deep insights into pedagogical, aesthetic, historical, and musicological topics. The symposium will also include a vibrant supporting programme and exhibitions from the world’s leading harp makers, of which Camac is proud to be one.

While attendees will encounter the biggest stars of the European harp scene, including Isabelle Moretti, Sylvain Blassel, and Jana Bouškovà, there will also be a focus on nurturing young talents—these “morning stars” reflect the festival’s title.

Tickets are now available to everyone, and it is important to note that the event is primarily funded by ticket sales. By purchasing a ticket, you directly support the symposium’s goals: promoting young talent and ensuring fair payment for all participating artists. Additionally, attractive packages are available for families, teachers, and their students.

  • The seventh edition of the International Harp Competition in Szeged, Hungary, will take place between November 19 – November 23 , 2025. There are three competition categories: 14 and under, 19 and under and 25 and under, and the competition always celebrates a Hungarian composer and a major harp repertoire composer. For the seventh edition, the event will celebrate two significant anniversaries: the 150th anniversary of the births of Henriette Renié and Maurice Ravel (both born in 1875), and the 50th anniversary of the passing of Marcel Grandjany (who died in 1975).

Their compositions have been included as set pieces in the program, alongside works by two Hungarian composers, reflecting the competition’s ongoing mission to support and promote Hungarian music.

Comprehensive information about rules, prizes, programmes and deadlines are available here on the competition’s webpage. You’ll also find the entry form, including upload details for the video preliminary round. The closing date for applications is September 15, 2025.
