The third weekend of October means only one thing – the Camac Festival! This takes place every year, in a French-speaking region. For the last thirteen years, our concept has been to tour with a top-quality artistic programme, a large exhibition of new and second-hand harps, and a big team of technicians to carry out the maximum number of regulations. The other essential aspect of the Camac festivals is the collaboration with the artists of our host cities. We want each festival to be a voyage of discovery, a centre of opportunity, and a meeting-point for friends old and new.
2019’s programme features artists from Brittany to Ekaterinburg, Paris to the USA, and a wonderful contribution from the classes of Toulouse, Blagnac, Roques-sur-Garonne and Tournefeuille! To find out more about everything we have planned for the Camac Festival’s second visit to Toulouse, see the Camac blog or download the dépliant below.
Entry to all events is free, but reservations are required. Please fill out the form at the end of this page to book your places for the concerts and workshops. Regulations should be reserved by emailing [email protected], including your harp’s serial number.

The programme is both rigorous and manageable, and a perfect early step into the world of competing at a high level. The competition is organised in memory of the gifted harpist Martine Géliot, who died too young.

Stop four on Camac Germany‘s 2019 tour: Tettnang, all the way to the South-West near the Swiss border. We’re delighted to be working with Simone Patricia Häusler once again! We had a superb weekend with Simone and Nikolaz Cadoret in 2015, and this year, we’ve secured the last free day in Evelyn Huber‘s diary.
Saturday, November 23 is the day: we’ll begin at 10AM in the Musikschule Tettnang, with an exhibition of the latest harps to exit the Camac ateliers. You can also have your Camac harp regulated FREE OF CHARGE by one of our senior technicians.
At 11AM, Evelyn will begin her workshop, on the theme of “Rhythms and World Music”. Few harpists are as well-qualified to explore this subject: from musette to Balkan swing, French chansons to Italian canzone, and a collaboration with the Egyptian Sufi band “Cairo Steps”…Evelyn Huber is one of the busiest and most eclectic harpists on today’s world stages! Her workshop is similarly open – everyone is welcome, from the age of 5 to 99.
German speakers can also read an extensive interview with Evelyn in Camac Germany’s latest newsletter.
In the afternoon from 4 – 5PM, workshop participants who also wish to perform in the closing ensemble concert will have a group rehearsal. And at 7PM, Evelyn Huber and the harp class of the Musikschule Tettnang will perform. There will be new rhythms, there will be world music, there will be improvisation – and there will be some surprises!
Workshop and concert reservations: please email Simone Patricia Häusler.
Commercial and regulation enquiries: Julia Becker, Camac Harfen Deutschland.
