“Les Amuses-Bouches” now available on video

François Pernel is busy uploading recordings of all the pieces in Les Amuse-Bouches, his book of sixty original compositions for lever harp beginners. Each piece has particular technical and musical points of focus, and as in all François’s music, there is a broad range of tonal and modal language. There’s no reason why every beginner should be confined to C Major! Teachers and students can freely make use of these videos, and even acquire some sheet music from François for free if for whatever reason they cannot buy the books.
Nothing can replace a teacher, but today’s wealth of different media also offers new ways of learning. François wants his music to be as accessible to as many people as possible, and to provide students with the experience of seeing a teacher performing his own pedagogic repertoire.
