‘Dasson an Delenn’ 2026: Registration is now open!

As of today, January 5, 2026, applications are now open for the 'Dasson an Delenn' Celtic harp competition!  Organised by Camac, the competition is designed for harp students under 21 of any nationality. It signals our ongoing commitment to fostering a culture of appreciation and admiration for the Celtic harp in all its guises.  Whereas our Camac Trophy, awarded each year as part of the Festival Interceltique de Lorient, recognises lever harpists at the highest professional level, we created the event in 2014 to provide opportunities to budding lever harpists to demonstrate their talent. It is a chance to perform publicly before a distinguished panel, showcasing repertoire for the lever harp—whether original compositions or arrangements. Read more…

Glowing Harp International Competition – ONLINE

In response to the many challenges facing the cultural sector this winter, Glowing Harp 2021 is holding a full international harp competition online. There are four age categories, from under 8 to up to 25 and open to all nationalities; prizes include a live concerto performance at a flexible future date, and an Odyssey harp. Read more…
